Fitness Centre Recreation Operations Staff

Keep Sally Borden Fitness and Recreation Centre services running through pool operations, records, bookings, and customer service. The position begins in January 2027.
Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity is hiring experienced Recreation Facility Staff for reception and facility operations. You will process memberships, sales, bookings, and cash outs while maintaining accurate records. The role also supports water treatment, chemical balancing, cleaning procedures, and guest safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform pool operations to Alberta Health Services standards
Complete water treatment, chemical balancing, and record keeping
Maintain accurate membership and merchandise transaction records
Assist facility and program bookings through data entry
Administer emergency first aid to guests when required
Requirements:
Certified Pool Operator Certificate or required course completion
Current Canadian first aid and safety qualifications
Post-secondary diploma and basic computer skills
One to three years’ experience in a similar role
Availability for flexible, irregular schedules and weekends
