Work evening shifts as a Health Care Aide at Bethany Riverview, Calgary, assisting residents with daily living and safe, dignified care.
This part-time, fixed-term assignment includes 14 four-and-a-half-hour shifts every four weeks. You will care for residents within your scope, maintain accurate health records, and contribute to a safe environment for residents, colleagues, and yourself. The position runs from October 20, 2026, through January 31, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents with required daily living activities
Maintain resident dignity and privacy during care
Observe, monitor, document, and report resident needs
Adhere to safety and emergency preparedness procedures
Demonstrate Bethany’s vision and values in practice
Requirements:
Grade 10 education and Alberta-approved HCA certificate
Registration with the College of LPNs and HCAs
Health Care Aide experience preferred, but not required
Ability to understand and communicate effectively in English
Ability to work physically and mentally demanding shifts
