This student opportunity supports Mitel’s General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams. You will assist with closing tasks, consolidation entries, filings, and audit activities. The position suits someone pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance who communicates effectively and wants to learn.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist with general month-end and quarter-end closing tasks
Prepare monthly entries consolidating subsidiaries into the main ERP
Interact with external and internal auditors
Support Financial Statement and MD&A tie-outs
Proof financial statements and other filings
Requirements:

Pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting or Finance
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and work within a team
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Apply accounting knowledge, reporting support, and careful analysis while contributing to Mitel’s General Accounting and Financial Reporting teams.
