Camp Leader Children’s Programs
North Vancouver Recreation & Culture
Lead school-aged children’s programs with sports, arts and crafts, and games at North Vancouver Recreation & Culture. Auxiliary camp work supports Pro Days, Winter Break, and Spring Break.
Playground Leader I is suited to enthusiastic, self-motivated candidates assisting with varied camps for children and youth. You will work cooperatively with children, parents, Camp Leaders, facility staff, and volunteers. Programs include neighborhood walks and activities delivered within a team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in leading sports, arts and crafts, and games
Support programs for school-aged children and youth
Lead neighborhood walks within assigned camp programs
Work cooperatively with children, parents, staff, and volunteers
Support varied activities at North Vancouver locations
Requirements:
Previous camp or organized children’s group experience
Current Standard First Aid and CPR Level C
High Five Principles of Healthy Child Development Certification
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Police Information Check and swimming pool comfort required
Bring organized, cooperative leadership to children’s camps through sports, creative activities, games, and community programming.
