This Nanaimo position provides medical and non-medical services for aging adults facing daily challenges. Health Care Assistants support personal hygiene, medications, nutrition, light housekeeping, and meaningful activities. Overnight availability is required, with caregivers remaining awake and attentive throughout the entire shift.
Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities
Support bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene
Prepare meals and ensure proper nutrition
Complete light housekeeping tasks
Engage clients through companionship and activities
Requirements:

Compassionate, reliable, and patient demeanor
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and within teams
Health Care Assistant license or equivalent
Reliable transportation and required checks
