This Pharmacy Student position provides practical experience for future pharmacists in a community pharmacy. You will support Pharmacy and Customer Service activities while learning about community pharmacy’s expanding roles. The experience includes exposure to OTC products, disease state management, drug therapy, patient counseling, and retail pharmacy management.
Key Responsibilities:
Acknowledge every customer approaching the Pharmacy
Meet privacy, confidentiality, and consent requirements
Remain clearly identifiable to the public
Support pharmacy and customer service activities
Deliver health, beauty, and convenience services
Requirements:
Interest in practical community pharmacy experience
Commitment to customer-centred pharmacy service
Ability to communicate with patients and employees
Interest in OTC products and disease state management
Interest in patient counseling and drug therapy
