Automotive Service Writer Tire Specialist
Fountain Tire
Use tire and mechanical service knowledge to advise customers at Fountain Tire Terrace. Build accurate quotes, bookings, and sales through regular day shifts.
This Service Writer position supports an established automotive repair shop through customer communication and service coordination. You will identify customer needs, recommend passenger, light truck, specialty tire, wheel, and mechanical services. Duties include communicating bookings to technicians, obtaining authorization, processing computer information, and following up on satisfaction. Training and certification development are provided, with opportunities for advancement.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify customer needs through effective listening
Recommend specialty tire and mechanical services
Communicate bookings and work orders to technicians
Process accurate billing and computer information
Make proactive customer satisfaction calls
Requirements:
Working knowledge of passenger and light truck tires
Working knowledge of specialty tires and mechanical services
Automotive repair or tire industry experience is an asset
Valid driver’s license with satisfactory Driver’s Abstract
Team player who takes pride in work
