Chippawa Creek at Bella Care Residence seeks a full-time Director of Care for its 160-bed long-term care home. Reporting to the Administrator, this leader directs nursing activities, interprets nursing philosophy, and implements objectives aligned with legislation and budgets. The position also requires communication with residents, families, officials, professionals, and company resources.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Nursing Department planning and daily supervision
Implement compliant nursing policies and procedures
Track required records, reports, and department statistics
Liaise regarding resident care needs and department activities
Lead facility operations during Administrator absence
Requirements:
Registered Nurse designation required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
Ontario nursing college membership or eligibility
Long-term care registered nursing experience required
Leadership, communication, and health care knowledge
Bring nursing leadership and long-term care management experience to maintain quality care at this Niagara Falls residence.
