Cardiology Registered Nurse Newmarket

Deliver cardiology nursing care at Southlake Health in Newmarket, Ontario, using clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills. This is a temporary, full-time position.
The Registered Nurse works within College of Nurses of Ontario standards and Southlake Health policies. You will care for diverse acute medical patients while supporting patient flow and quality care. Collaboration, documentation, and clinical leadership are central to this assignment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide care to diverse acute medical patients
Assess and document each patient's ongoing health status
Develop and evaluate patient Plans of Care
Coordinate care and assume charge nurse duties when assigned
Support peers, students, and new staff through consultation and orientation
Requirements:
Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certificate required
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support certificate preferred
Excellent physical assessment, clinical, and critical-thinking skills
Electronic documentation knowledge and interprofessional collaboration abilities
