Retail Food Operations Assistant Manager

Support retail food operations at Orchards Food Store in Edmonton through sales execution, inventory management, and strong team leadership. Open availability is required for this position.
As Assistant Food Store Manager, you will help deliver North Central Co-op’s vision through daily store execution and operational planning. The work includes achieving sales, margin, expense, and inventory goals while maintaining brand, service, quality, and delivery standards. You will also develop team members through coaching, training, and performance management.
Key Responsibilities:
Achieve budgeted sales, margin, expense, and inventory goals
Execute sales strategies supporting North Central Co-op’s vision
Recruit, train, develop, coach, and motivate team members
Maintain customer, member, vendor, and team relationships
Ensure company policies and safety procedures are followed
Requirements:
Career interest in retail store operations
Minimum three years of retail food experience
One-plus years of retail food leadership experience
Post-secondary education is an asset
Willingness to relocate within NCC locations
Use retail food experience, leadership, and operational planning skills to support store performance at North Central Co-op.
