Intermediate Civil Infrastructure Technologist

Civil3D and municipal infrastructure design define this Intermediate Technologist role at EXP, based in Calgary or Edmonton. Produce coordinated technical drawings for Western Canada projects.
As an Intermediate Civil Engineering Technologist or Technician, you will support civil infrastructure design with engineers, project managers, and technical staff. Your work includes roads, grading, underground utilities, water, sanitary sewer, and stormwater systems. The role emphasizes design development, coordination, quality, and project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare civil engineering drawings and coordinated design packages
Develop plans, profiles, sections, details, and construction drawings
Translate calculations and design criteria into technical drawings
Coordinate drawings with engineers and multidisciplinary technical teams
Complete self-checks using EXP quality and file-management standards
Requirements:
Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology or related field
Relevant civil or municipal infrastructure design experience
Experience using applicable civil design and drafting software
Fundamental understanding of Civil3D project delivery integration
Ability to interpret surveys, calculations, standards, and design criteria
Apply civil drafting, Civil3D understanding, and infrastructure coordination skills to EXP projects across Western Canada.
