Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Coordinate manufacturing production with Microsoft Office expertise and HACCP knowledge at Olymel. This supervisor role focuses on efficient, compliant departmental operations.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor plans, organizes, directs, and monitors production activities. The position emphasizes labor and equipment use, operational efficiency, health and safety, and continuous improvement. Candidates bring manufacturing supervision experience and strong planning abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate production activities within the assigned department
Ensure efficient use of labor and equipment
Monitor departmental performance and effectiveness
Apply health, safety, HACCP, and SQF requirements
Participate in continuous improvement committees and initiatives
Requirements:
Two to three years supervising manufacturing teams
Unionized environment experience considered an asset
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
Strong planning and organizational skills
Solution-oriented approach to problem-solving and improvement
