Senior Financial Analyst Alberta Healthcare

Advanced Excel and financial analysis define this Senior Financial Analyst position with Recovery Alberta Business Advisory Services. Work remotely within Alberta from 8:00am to 4:15pm.
You will support the Compassionate Intervention program’s development, implementation, and ongoing finance needs. The role serves operational leadership and finance teams through reporting, analysis, policies, systems, and procedures. It also supports budgets, forecasting, process controls, and financial projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide financial policy and procedure advice to operational leadership
Compile reports and interpret complex financial analyses
Complete journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis
Support month-end, quarter-end, and annual accounting duties
Coordinate financial projects and guide Financial Analysts
Requirements:
Post-secondary degree in accounting or a related field
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial experience
Minimum two years of accounting or financial experience
Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
Project management or financial modeling experience considered an asset
