Relief Pharmacist Patient Care

Deliver accurate prescription care as a Relief Pharmacist in Nanaimo, using pharmacy operations expertise and patient counselling skills. Travel across assigned locations while supporting scheduled relief coverage.
As Relief Pharmacist, you will assist the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist with all aspects of pharmacy operations. The work includes accepting prescriptions, safely filling medications, counselling patients, and protecting privacy. You will also provide eligible services, follow provincial regulations, and build relationships with healthcare providers and district stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:

Accept prescriptions and refill requests from authorized sources
Fill prescriptions accurately, efficiently, and safely
Counsel patients on sold pharmaceutical products
Provide medication reviews, injections, and eligible services
Travel to locations according to relief program schedules
Requirements:

Pharmacist License required
Age sixteen or older
Follow provincial regulatory requirements and pharmacy procedures
Operate pharmacy registers and computer systems
Protect patient privacy at all times
Support Nanaimo pharmacy operations through safe dispensing, patient counselling, regulatory compliance, and dependable relief coverage.
