Integrated Pest Management Coordinator
Town of Caledon
Coordinate invasive species control through Integrated Pest Management for the Town of Caledon, with regular travel across municipal sites.
This contract coordinator reports directly to the Manager, Parks Operations & Forestry. You will plan programs, create operating procedures, collaborate with regional partners, and supervise in-house and contracted staff. The work includes flexible scheduling, on-call duties, and urgent responses when required.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan invasive species management programs and procedures
Align practices with policies and legislated requirements
Collaborate with Peel municipalities and Conservation Authority staff
Supervise staff and coordinate functional groups
Manage escalated public issues and operational communications
Requirements:
Diploma in Forestry, Landscape Technician, or related discipline
Three to five years’ Integrated Pest Management experience
Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and knowledge of CityWide
Flexible schedule with travel, on-call, and weekend availability
