This early-career engineer will learn independent system operator cluster interconnection processes while contributing to power system studies. Responsibilities span load-flow, short-circuit, transient stability, voltage stability, and other analyses. E Source also values experience with PSS/E, PSLF, TARA, PSCAD, IPLAN, or Python.
Key Responsibilities:

Support independent system operator interconnection studies
Develop network models for client specifications
Analyze power flow and transient stability
Contribute to technical reports and deliverables
Identify new client opportunities through business development
Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering
Some experience with ISO studies or congestion analysis
Experience with PSS/E model development preferred
Familiarity with PSCAD and EMT simulation
Knowledge of transmission interconnection and reliability standards
Build interconnection study expertise through PSS/E analysis, modeling, and reporting for E Source utility clients in Canada.
