Infant Toddler Preschool Educator
North End Community Day Care Centre
Support infant, toddler, or preschool learning at North End Community Day Care Centre in person, using play-based programming and sensitive care.
This full-time educator position serves children at 2700 Robie St or the SJAM location. Educators follow the Nova Scotia Framework and Guidelines while creating safe, inclusive, and welcoming spaces. The work includes daily programming, family communication, classroom care, and children’s routines.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and assess daily play-based programs
Provide high-quality, sensitive care to children
Build relationships with children, staff, and families
Communicate with parents during drop-off and pick-up
Assist with toileting, dressing, feeding, and other routines
Requirements:
Level 2 or 3 Nova Scotia Classification preferred
Level 2 experience of two years preferred
Follow Nova Scotia Framework and Guidelines
Work in person at an assigned centre location
Support safe, inclusive, and positive environments
Bring early childhood education, play-based planning, and responsive care to North End Community Day Care Centre.
