Telephone Claims Adjuster North Bay

Manage insurance claims by telephone in North Bay, using investigation and customer service skills with Optimum Insurance’s Claims team. Support policyholders from notification through resolution.
As a Telephone Adjuster, you will report to the Assistant Vice President, Claims, and manage claims through resolution. The position includes reviewing coverage, assessing losses, negotiating settlements, and communicating with policyholders. You will also maintain claim files while developing your claims career.
Key Responsibilities:

Investigate and manage claims submitted by policyholders
Review coverage and determine claim eligibility
Gather information to assess and resolve claims
Negotiate settlements within established authority levels
Provide timely, empathetic customer service throughout claims
Requirements:

College diploma or university degree
Knowledge of Property and Casualty insurance
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
