Deliver preventive dental care in Halifax as a Dental Hygienist at Bayers Road Dental Centre, using scaling and patient education skills. Work from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Led by Dr. Patrick Cullinan, Bayers Road Dental Centre seeks a Dental Hygienist for its patient-focused practice. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care services while providing clinical preventive hygiene treatments. The position emphasizes tailored patient experiences, oral health education, and professional conduct.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate services for patient care
Perform scaling, root planing, polishing, and topical fluoride treatments
Apply pit and fissure sealants and provide whitening services
Educate patients about oral health and preventive techniques
Build patient loyalty through tailored, ethical experiences
Requirements:
Completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Degree
Current provincial registration as a Dental Hygienist
Good standing with the provincial regulatory body
Valid CPR certification
Use preventive hygiene expertise, patient education, and ethical care to support patients at Bayers Road Dental Centre in Halifax.
