You will oversee system performance, guide a unionized team, and maintain a best-in-class environment. The position combines maintenance planning, tenant communication, budgeting, and energy-saving initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a unionized team of seven professionals
Manage predictive and preventative maintenance programs
Coordinate tenant mechanical and electrical system concerns
Develop budgets and monitor department expenditures
Manage vendors, contractors, contracts, and energy initiatives
Requirements:
Five years of practical mechanical or electrical experience
Supervisory or management experience in mechanical or electrical operations
Power Engineer Fourth Class certificate or higher
Leadership, mentorship, and interpersonal communication skills
Budget preparation and financial monitoring experience
Bring mechanical leadership, maintenance planning, and energy-management expertise to Metropolis at Metrotown’s on-site operations.
