Mechanical CAD Designer Rotating Machinery

Use mechanical CAD expertise to develop rotating machinery designs at CPC Pumps. Work on-site in Burlington across office and warehouse settings.
The Mechanical Designer creates and maintains designs for pumps, skids, machined components, welded fabrications, pipe layouts, and full assemblies. Reporting to the Mechanical Design Manager, you will review drawings, engineering documents, and applicable requirements for accuracy and compliance. The position also involves ISO quality procedures, drawing management, material selection, and cooperation across engineering functions. Experience with rotating equipment is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
Update pump layouts, drawings, and engineering documents
Follow ISO procedures for drawing management and control
Develop and maintain engineering standards with engineering functions
Review applicable industry standards and regulatory requirements
Work across office and warehouse settings with required safety equipment
Requirements:
SolidWorks or equivalent CAD software experience
AutoCAD two-dimensional sketching experience
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work cooperatively on multiple projects
Knowledge of ASME, ASTM, or API standards preferred
Use CAD, documentation control, and mechanical engineering skills to advance accurate pump and rotating machinery designs.
