Alliston at Home Inc. seeks an Intermediate Architectural Technologist for its Urban Design and Architecture team. The position covers residential design and drafting across single-family homes, townhomes, and similar multi-family projects. You will continue developing technical knowledge while reporting to the Manager of Urban Design and Architecture.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare preliminary and final residential working drawings
Develop and review residential plot plans
Apply municipal bylaws, building codes, and energy requirements
Assist with building permit applications and related processes
Coordinate drafting requirements throughout project lifecycles
Requirements:

Minimum three years residential drafting and design experience
Experience with single-family, townhouse, or multi-family projects
Minimum three years of AutoCAD experience
Knowledge of residential construction drawings and drafting practices
Familiarity with municipal bylaws, building codes, and energy codes
