Mold Maintenance Specialist Winnipeg

Restore mold geometry and apply mold release interfaces onsite in Winnipeg as a full-time, permanent Mold Maintenance Specialist.
Carfair Composites, an NFI Group company, seeks a Mold Maintenance Specialist working Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM. You will develop foundational technical skills while maintaining molds for proper part specifications. The work includes fiberglass components and composite manufacturing, with close supervision during development.
Key Responsibilities:
Restore and maintain mold geometry to part specifications
Apply mold release interfaces properly
Maintain body frames, wheels, and hardware
Use hand and pneumatic tools to patch, sand, and spray
Communicate mold issues and schedule maintenance with production
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to read blueprints
Manufacturing or production experience is advantageous
Fiberglass or automotive bodywork experience is an asset
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
Support Carfair Composites production through precise mold maintenance, composite skills, safe tool operation, and careful workplace procedures.
