CNC Operator Woodworking

We are seeking an experienced Senior Woodworking CNC Operator to join our clients CNC department. If you take pride in precision, craftsmanship, and problem-solving, we want to hear from you! You’ll set up and operate 3-axis and multi-axis CNC routers, optimize production workflows, troubleshoot machining issues, maintain quality standards, and mentor junior operators.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate CNC routers using job files.
Optimize toolpaths, feed rates, cycle times, and material yield.
Manage tooling inventory and maintain cutting tools.
Troubleshoot machine errors and cutting defects.
Perform basic preventative maintenance and quality checks.
Train junior operators and promote safe work practices.
Qualifications
5+ years of CNC router experience in commercial woodworking, cabinetry, or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of toolpaths, feed rates, and tooling.
Experience with precision measuring tools, including calipers and indicators.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
Must be eligible to work in Canada.
Flexibility to work day or night shifts.
