CT Technologist Diagnostic Imaging
St. Joseph's Health Centre, Toronto
Use CT expertise and critical thinking to support diagnostic imaging at Unity Health Toronto's St. Joseph's Health Centre. This Toronto position includes varied shifts and on-call coverage as required.
As a CT Technologist, you will provide high-quality CT and interventional services for patients and referring physicians. The work involves consulting with radiologists and nurses, coordinating procedures, managing competing demands, and using equipment and resources safely. Patient- and family-centered care remains central to every examination.
Key Responsibilities:
Consult with radiologists and nurses about patient-specific needs
Assist with examination protocols and standardization
Coordinate procedure scheduling and communicate relevant information
Organize supplies through inventory ordering and restocking
Provide safe, timely, tailored patient care
Requirements:
Two to three years' experience as a radiological technologist
Ontario medical radiation technologist registration
Current CPR certification
Excellent problem recognition and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Bring diagnostic imaging judgment, procedure coordination, and patient-centered care to CT services at St. Joseph's Health Centre.
