Home health care worker
Location: North York, ON
Salary: $21.00 hourly / 30 to 40 hours per week
Full time, permanent employment
Starts as soon as possible
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: Experience an asset
Work site environment: Non‑smoking
Work setting: Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live‑in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment.
Work in employer’s/client’s home
Tasks
Care for elderly man with disability (bedside and personal care)
Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
Switch clothing and linens
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Provide companionship
Prepare and serve nutritious meals
Job Requirements
Security and safety: Criminal record check
Weight handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs)
Personal suitability: Punctuality, Client focus, Dependability, Initiative, Judgement, Organized, Reliability, Patience, Honesty
