This permanent role is ideal for those with 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience. As a chef, you will be responsible for preparing meals, supervising culinary staff, and demonstrating cooking techniques. You’ll also take part in updating menus and managing kitchen equipment while maintaining accurate food consumption records.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes and specialties
• Supervise and mentor kitchen staff
• Train team members on cooking and safety practices
• Coordinate menu planning and updates
• Manage records of food costs and supplies
Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience
• Secondary school education required
• Leadership and organizational skills
• Familiarity with kitchen equipment and techniques
