Mining HVAC Maintenance Technician

Apply HVAC maintenance expertise in Geraldton, Ontario, supporting mining equipment through repairs, installations, and preventative service. Handle mechanical systems, piping, and airflow balancing.
This HVAC Technician reports to the Mill Mechanical Supervisor and supports mining-related HVAC equipment. The work includes maintenance, equipment rebuilding, new installations, and troubleshooting. You will also address mechanical, plumbing, electrical, and low-voltage BAS system requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventative and predictive HVAC maintenance services
Repair, service, and rebuild equipment as directed
Install and modify HVAC piping and related equipment
Balance airflow to ensure proper air circulation
Document maintenance actions, irregularities, and requirements
Requirements:
Five or more years of relevant professional experience
High school diploma, GED, or related work experience
Dual trade designation or certification considered an asset
Comfort working at heights and outdoors in inclement weather
Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or collaboratively
Use HVAC repair, installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance skills to support mining operations in Geraldton, Ontario.
