Fraser Health seeks a part-time Physiotherapist to enrich the lives of children with disabilities in Burnaby. This role combines clinical expertise with community health initiatives.
Focused on promoting cognitive and physical development, you will assess school-age children and provide tailored therapy services. Your role also involves training teachers and parents to support children's rehabilitation and integration into classrooms.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver physiotherapy assessments and individualized treatment plans
• Support educational staff by providing necessary training
• Engage in community outreach and communication
• Collaborate with families for holistic care development
• Keep comprehensive records of assessments and treatments
Requirements:
• Accredited Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
• Two years of relevant practice, including pediatric experience
• Full registration with the College of Health and Care Professionals
• Class V B.C. Driver's License for outreach
• Ability to promote inclusive practices in education
