Manufacturing Assembly Production Operator

Apply mechanical aptitude and quality assurance skills as a Production Operator at QinetiQ Target Systems, assembling uncrewed vehicle systems and support equipment.
This Production Operator supports manufacture, repair, overhaul, acceptance testing, and operation of assemblies and sub-assemblies. You will assemble products using drawings and build instructions, test systems under supervision, and inspect finished output. The work requires careful attention to detail, technical ability, and safety commitment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assemble products accurately according to drawings and build instructions
Test final systems and sub-assemblies under supervision
Inspect finished products against quality standards
Perform routine machinery maintenance and report defects
Maintain a clean, organized work area
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong mechanical aptitude for integration and issue resolution
Quality assurance skills during inspection and testing procedures
Previous manufacturing environment experience preferred
Eligibility for Canadian work and required security clearance
