The Lighthouse - Le Phare Counselling and Psychotherapy
Support children and youth as a Registered Psychotherapist in Kemptville, primarily in person, with virtual opportunities where clinically appropriate. Adapt therapy to developmental needs.
The Lighthouse – Le Phare seeks a therapist experienced with children and youth for an ongoing independent contractor opportunity. You will support clients during a planned 12-month absence while receiving new referrals as your practice develops. The work addresses anxiety, depression, family relationship difficulties, and school challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide developmentally appropriate therapy to children and youth
Support suitable existing clients during a planned leave
Receive new child-and-youth referrals as practice develops
Adapt therapeutic approaches to individual needs and goals
Offer primarily in-person appointments in Kemptville
Requirements:
Active registration with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario
Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children and youth
Sound professional judgment and clear communication
Appropriate professional liability insurance
Some afternoon or evening availability in Kemptville
Bring child-and-youth therapy experience, developmental flexibility, and collaborative communication to The Lighthouse – Le Phare.
