Intermediate HVAC Mechanical Engineer

Apply mechanical engineering expertise to resilient facilities at WSP, designing HVAC systems for mission-critical and advanced-computing environments.
As an Intermediate Mechanical Engineer, you will lead small and medium-sized mechanical designs while supporting larger assignments. Your work includes HVAC systems, building mechanical infrastructure, multidisciplinary coordination, and project delivery. You will contribute from planning through construction closeout.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead mechanical design for small and medium-sized projects
Develop HVAC and building mechanical infrastructure solutions
Coordinate integrated designs with multidisciplinary project stakeholders
Conduct site reviews and support construction administration
Resolve field-related mechanical design issues and mentor junior staff
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited institution
Professional Engineer or Engineer-in-Training registration, or British Columbia eligibility
Experience leading small and medium-sized mechanical design projects
Technical knowledge of HVAC systems and building infrastructure
Mission-critical, data centre, AI, or HPC experience is an asset
