Jean Coutu Assistant Store Manager
The Jean Coutu Group
Lead customer service improvement as an Assistant Manager at Jean Coutu, coordinating employees and supporting daily store operations.
This Assistant Manager supports the management team through employee supervision, hiring, performance evaluations, and team scheduling. The position also oversees store opening and closing, cleanliness, employee training, and commercial standards. Retail management experience is an asset, while industry experience can support training.
Key Responsibilities:
Improve customer service continuously throughout store operations
Plan, distribute, and supervise employees’ assigned work
Support hiring, evaluations, and team schedule planning
Oversee store opening, closing, cleanliness, and operations
Maintain Jean Coutu Group commercial image standards
Requirements:
Engaging, autonomous, and dynamic approach
Ability to collaborate effectively as a team player
Friendly attitude and enjoyment of customer contact
Industry experience if management experience is unavailable
Basic knowledge of French
