Deliver respiratory therapy at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster, using mechanical ventilation and airway management skills. Support adults, children, and infants.
Fraser Health seeks a Respiratory Therapist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures. You will provide patient evaluation, daily care, cardiopulmonary resuscitation support, and mechanical ventilation support. The work also includes documentation, interdisciplinary collaboration, equipment quality control, and education.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform respiratory assessments, interventions, and patient follow-ups
Support cardiopulmonary resuscitation and mechanical ventilation
Provide airway management and prescribed daily patient care
Maintain accurate reports, records, and workload statistics
Monitor, clean, calibrate, and evaluate respiratory equipment
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Complete the Canadian Board of Respiratory Care credentialing exam
Eligible for CSRT and BCSRT membership
Current CPR Level C and maintained NRP certification
Communicate effectively and organize work priorities
