Principal Analog SerDes IC Designer
Cadence
Design analog and mixed-signal IC blocks at Cadence using SerDes expertise, jitter analysis, and signal equalization techniques. This existing vacancy centers on long-reach SerDes development.
As Principal Analog IC Designer, you will develop circuits from initial concept and specification through final customer-conformance verification. The work covers long-reach SerDes and requires experience with CMOS SerDes or high-speed I/O IC development. You will use CAD tools for circuit simulation and post-layout verification.
Key Responsibilities:
Design analog and mixed-signal IC circuit blocks
Develop long-reach SerDes circuits
Progress designs from concept through final verification
Verify conformance to customer specifications
Use CAD tools for simulation and post-layout verification
Requirements:
Minimum five years developing CMOS SerDes or high-speed I/O ICs
Thorough understanding of jitter and signal equalization techniques
Experience designing most listed SerDes circuit blocks
Master’s or PhD degree in electrical engineering
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
