Senior Aerospace Certification Engineer

Lead aerospace certification assessments through airborne software and hardware expertise, including FPGA, ASIC, and embedded systems engineering.
This senior engineering role requires 15+ years of technical engineering experience, including 10+ years in aeronautics. You will review designs, evaluate compliance, and address certification requirements across software and electronic hardware. The work draws on DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-248B/C, DO-330, EASA, and FAA guidance.
Key Responsibilities:

Review airborne software and electronic hardware designs
Conduct system design reviews and certification assessments
Perform technical audits and safety-of-flight reviews
Evaluate test results and determine compliance status
Prepare design compliance reports and resolve deficiencies
Requirements:

15+ years of technical engineering experience
10+ years of aeronautics experience
5+ years developing FPGA, ASIC, or embedded software
Knowledge of DO-178B/C, DO-254, DO-248B/C, and DO-330
Familiarity with EASA and FAA guidance
