Mining Electrical Maintenance Planners - 14/14 - Camp + Paid Flights - Up to $140,000/year - British Columbia
Big Country Equipment is seeking Electrical Maintenance Planners to join their team at a Southern B.C. mine site. This role involves developing and implementing comprehensive electrical maintenance plans for fixed plant equipment in a mining environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, a safety-first mindset, and experience with CMMS systems. What You’ll Need
Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred)
3 to 5 years of experience in electrical planning within a fixed plant/mill mine environment
3+ years of hands-on experience installing and maintaining electrical systems in the mining industry
Expert knowledge and experience with CMMS programs (SAP S/4HANA preferred)
Familiarity with electrical distribution, PLC/DCS control systems, motor controls, VFDs, and industrial networking
Proficiency in Excel, Word, Teams, Outlook; MS Project experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to remain fit for duty in a safety-sensitive environment
Experience working within Canadian provincial mining regulatory frameworks
What Will Make You Stand Out
Maintenance Management Professional (MMP) or Certified Maintenance and Reliability Professional (CMRP) designation (or equivalent experience)
Experience with SAP S/4HANA CMMS implementation
