Are you an experienced Automotive Service Technician? We're looking for someone who knows their trade and takes pride in doing the job right.
Grand Toyota is looking for a skilled and dependable Journeyman Automotive Service Technician to join our Service Department in Grand Falls-Windsor.
We're looking for strong diagnostic and repair skills, and a natural ability to work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship.
What You’ll Be Doing
Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicles in accordance with manufacturer specifications and dealership standards.
Perform mechanical and electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Complete scheduled maintenance and inspections.
Identify additional repair requirements and communicate findings clearly to service advisors and service manager.
Use diagnostic equipment, technical resources, and manufacturer information to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
Maintain accurate documentation of work performed.
Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.
Participate in ongoing technical training to stay current with evolving vehicle technologies.
Provide guidance and support to Apprentice Technicians and other junior members of the service team.
Perform other related duties as required.
What We are Looking For
Journeyman certification as an Automotive Service Technician.
Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair skills.
A commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Experience working with modern automotive systems and diagnostic equipment.
Good time management skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Valid driver's licence and acceptable driving record.
A professional, dependable, and safety-focused approach to your work.
