JOB SUMMARY
The
Technical Data & Diagnostics Analyst
transforms data from millions of connected devices into actionable solutions for our customers and our support and installation teams.
As part of our analytics team, and working closely with the hardware, embedded software, software development, and technical support teams, the analyst develops algorithms capable of identifying field issues and recommending the appropriate corrective actions.
The analyst combines data with the expertise of colleagues to produce reliable diagnostics, then translates these algorithms into code within our diagnostic engine. The role also leverages
artificial intelligence (AI)
to accelerate analysis, development, and automation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Data Analysis & Diagnostics
Analyze large volumes of data to identify anomalies, trends, and field issues.
Develop, validate, and improve diagnostic algorithms and recommended corrective actions.
Interpret data based on the hardware and software behaviour of our products.
Development & Integration
Translate diagnostic algorithms into functional, maintainable code, primarily in
C# , and integrate them into our diagnostic engine.
Use
SQL
and automation tools to extract, transform, and validate data.
Contribute to a modular, scalable, and centralized diagnostic architecture.
Explore and leverage
AI
to accelerate data analysis, algorithm development, programming, and automation.
Validate the accuracy, robustness, and relevance of AI-generated results.
Collaborate with hardware, embedded software, software development, and technical support teams.
Work with the technical support and installation teams to validate diagnostics and ensure recommendations are practical and actionable.
Gradually take ownership of specific projects and areas of expertise, driving them forward independently while demonstrating initiative and leadership.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Education / Experience / Certifications
Education in
Data Analytics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering , or a related field.
Experience extracting and analyzing data from databases, as well as developing algorithms.
Experience with
IoT, embedded systems, or cellular communications
is considered a strong asset.
Technical Knowledge
Strong proficiency in
SQL
and experience working with large datasets.
Good understanding of electronics and the ability to interpret data generated by technical products.
Solid programming foundations and the ability to translate diagnostic algorithms into functional, maintainable code.
Knowledge of
C#
is preferred, or the ability to learn it quickly.
Python, VBA , or other relevant programming languages are considered assets.
Experience with, or a strong interest in, using
artificial intelligence
for analysis, development, and automation.
Required Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Methodical, structured, and rigorous approach with strong attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative and leadership in assigned projects.
