Fitness Trainer Customer Service
Ignite Fitness Holdings
Deliver friendly fitness instruction at Planet Fitness in Red Deer, using exercise coaching and customer service skills on a fixed schedule. Support members while maintaining a courteous, welcoming experience.
The full time Fitness Trainer promotes ignite Fitness Holdings-Planet Fitness Mission, Vision and Values. This customer service role balances multiple tasks while instructing exercise routines, evaluating physical conditions, and adapting training programs. Weekday hours depend on club needs, and initial training hours may vary.
Key Responsibilities:
Observe participants and recommend corrective measures for skill improvement
Teach exertion levels and proper breathing techniques
Evaluate abilities, needs, and physical conditions
Develop and adapt suitable training programs
Explain safety rules and administer emergency first aid
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Six months retail customer service experience required
Fitness experience preferred, with certification required for coaching
CPR/AED Certification preferred
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 pounds
Bring fitness instruction, safety awareness, and courteous customer service to Planet Fitness members in Red Deer.
