Casual Long-Term Care Registered Nurse

Provide safe geriatric nursing care as a casual Registered Nurse at AgeCare Brandt's Creek Mews in Kelowna, British Columbia. Apply clinical judgment and interpersonal skills.
The Registered Nurse collaborates with the Director of Care to meet residents’ individual needs within competency. This position supports quality care, teamwork, resident safety, and ethical professional nursing services. Experience in geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate nursing and resident services within the neighbourhood
Lead shift reports with the healthcare team
Communicate changes in residents’ conditions
Document resident information according to policies and standards
Process physician orders and communicate implementation difficulties
Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
Geriatric, rehabilitation, or long-term care nursing background
Knowledge of relevant healthcare legislation and regulations
Registration and membership in good standing with the provincial registry
Knowledge of activation, nursing, and personnel administration
Support resident safety and individualized care through nursing coordination, documentation, clinical judgment, and teamwork at AgeCare.
