Lead resident-centred care at Norview Lodge in Simcoe as a Registered Nurse, coordinating assessments, treatments, and individualized care planning.
The Corporation of Norfolk County seeks a Registered Nurse for permanent part-time work at Norview Lodge. You will supervise resident care processes, maintain records, administer medications, and coordinate services with residents, physicians, families, and staff. This work supports safe, high-quality care and residents’ overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of resident care
Administer prescribed medications and required treatments
Maintain confidential electronic and manual nursing records
Teach, delegate, assign, and supervise resident care
Oversee care standards and support emergency procedures
Requirements:
Current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Knowledge of long-term care regulations and relevant legislation
Management, organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Valid Ontario driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
