Lead grocery retail operations at Food World Plus while applying financial management and team leadership across a 176,000-square-foot store.
This full-time Retail Operations Manager oversees fresh departments, center store, front-end operations, inventory control, staffing, and financial performance. The position requires senior grocery management experience, food safety knowledge, budgeting skills, and grocery POS or retail software experience. You will guide department managers and more than 100 employees while supporting operational excellence and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee Produce, Meat, Dairy, Deli, Bakery, and grocery departments
Lead department managers and a team exceeding 100 employees
Drive sales growth, gross margin, and store profitability
Monitor shrink, waste control, and inventory turnover
Ensure food safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance
Requirements:
Five-plus years of senior management experience in high-volume grocery
Large-format grocery operations experience preferred
Strong fresh department and food safety understanding
Leadership, team development, and communication experience
Financial, budgeting, inventory, and POS software skills
