Hybrid position - you will be required to be in office 1 day a week and 4 days work from home.
Shift Available: Monday to Friday - 8:30am to 4:30pm
*Salary Range $47,000 - $61,000, based on experience and qualification.*
Description of Role
As an Import Analyst, you are responsible for liaising with multiple third parties (including Canada Customs, our clients, and shipping companies) to ensure international Air/Ocean imports are cleared for entry into Canada.
Use multiple computer programs, to input required information into our database
Communicate with clients, and transportation carriers via email and phone
Partner with internal departments, such as Logistics and Finance, plus varying government agencies to resolve discrepancies
Key Qualifications
High school Diploma is required, post-secondary education preferred
Minimum 3-4 years’ releasing goods in a customs brokerage environment - Air/Ocean
CCS designation is an asset
Working knowledge of MS Office Suite of products
An eye for detail is critical for success in the role
A proactive problem solving mindset
Must Have:
Air/Ocean experience as an Import Analyst/Rater
