The Home Support Worker assists an elderly male with daily routines and regular exercise. Required preparation includes college or other caregiving-related courses and at least one year of related experience. The worksite is nonsmoking and located in the employer’s private household.
Key Responsibilities:

Shop for food and household supplies
Plan and prepare meals or assist with eating
Provide personal care, including bathing and dressing
Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
Assist with walks, exercise, and companionship
Requirements:

Completion of caregiving-related college or other courses
At least one year of related experience
Honesty and concern for others
Monitoring and attention to detail
Social orientation and instructing ability
