As a General Merchandise Department Manager in Training, you will complete a comprehensive development program. You will learn department operations, sales, profitability, and team development. The experience also covers business metrics, compliance, merchandising, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with store leaders on key business metrics
Oversee designated department operations and customer service
Drive department sales and profitability performance
Lead, coach, and develop department colleagues
Maintain merchandise, compliance, safety, and operational standards
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Some college coursework preferred
Previous retail management experience is an asset
Strong leadership, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
Flexible schedule, basic Microsoft Office skills, and lifting ability
Build toward department leadership with Real Canadian Superstore through merchandising, operations, coaching, and customer service expertise.
