Marketing Assistant
Port Boat House Ltd.
Responsibilities
Create and manage content for Facebook, Instagram, and other digital platforms.
Assist with updating website content, product listings, photos, and promotional information.
Create marketing materials including brochures, flyers, advertisements, email campaigns, and social media graphics.
Take photos and videos of boats, products, events, deliveries, and dealership activities.
Assist with planning and promoting boat shows, dealership events, promotions, and other marketing initiatives for both Port Boat House and Howe Sound Marine.
Support the Sales Department with customer follow-up, product information, documentation, and day-to-day administrative tasks.
Help maintain customer and sales records and assist with lead follow-up.
Work with Sales, Service, and Parts departments to promote products, services, and company activities.
Monitor marketing activities and help identify opportunities to improve customer engagement.
Attend boat shows and industry events as required.
Perform other sales, marketing, and administrative duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Facebook and Instagram.
Drone experience / drone license
Experience with photography is an asset
Experience with Canva, basic graphic design, photography, or video creation is an asset.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Positive attitude and strong customer-service mindset.
Previous customer service or social media experience is preferred.
Interest in boating, fishing, motorsports, or recreational vehicles is an asset.
Job Type:
Full-time, Permanent
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
Pay:
$22.00–$26 per hour, based on experience
