This Foreperson position supports construction, installation, inspection, and maintenance of power distribution systems. You will lead powerline technicians, interpret construction drawings, troubleshoot distribution lines, and coordinate crew logistics. The work suits an experienced powerline professional with strong technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
Construct and maintain overhead and underground power distribution systems
Operate bucket trucks, trenchers, backhoes, and specialized equipment
Troubleshoot and repair distribution powerlines
Track production, materials, logistics, and crew coordination
Train junior workers and promote OH&S practices
Requirements:
Valid Journeyperson Powerline Technician certification
Previous experience leading powerline technician crews
Five-plus years of powerline construction experience preferred
Ability to climb poles and work from bucket trucks
Class 5 license and acceptable five-year Driver’s Abstract
