Raise is establishing a pipeline of Design Engineers for contract work in the Ontario energy sector. Candidates will tackle complex engineering challenges in regulated environments, focusing on turbine systems and infrastructure modifications. This role will help optimize designs while ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create engineering designs and technical specifications for modifications
• Manage Engineering Change Control processes comprehensively
• Evaluate vendor engineering outputs on behalf of the owner
• Perform evaluations and resolve field-initiated modifications
• Mentor junior engineers and design staff throughout projects
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant engineering discipline
• 4 to 10+ years of relevant design engineering experience
• Knowledge of engineering change control processes
• P.Eng. designation or eligibility preferred
• Excellent technical writing and analytical skills
