Full-Time Grocery Store Manager

Lead Peace Country Co-op’s food store in Peace River, Alberta, using retail leadership and operational budget management to guide daily performance.
As Full-Time Store Manager, you will direct Department Managers and oversee store operations, sales, margins, expenses, inventory, and customer service. The position requires progressive retail experience, team leadership, planning, and strong analytical skills. You will also manage employees, budgets, merchandising standards, procurement, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer experiences and resolve complaints promptly
Direct Department Managers toward operational and financial goals
Oversee maintenance, security, housekeeping, and daily operations
Manage sales growth, profitability, pricing, promotions, and product strategies
Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate employees
Requirements:
Five-plus years of progressively responsible retail experience
One to two-plus years supervising or leading teams
Strong communication, interpersonal, planning, and organization skills
Budget management, inventory, analytical, and problem-solving experience
Computer skills, accurate data entry, and file management ability
